Steel Mat Club

Steel Mat Club is an elite wrestling club divoted to the sport of wrestling. We are located in the BRUTE training center at 8 Corporate Blvd. Sinking Spring, PA 19608. The facility offers 2 plus full mats, workout room, and locker room used primarily to promote the sport of wrestling. We are extremely fortunate to train there and we can't thank Henson corp. and BRUTE enough for their generosity and support toward the best sport in the world.

Our youth and middle school programs focus on skills development. As the wrestlers mature, the skill sets and instructional level is stepped up to challenge the wrestler's ability. Wrestlers of all calibers will benefit from the high level of competition in the room.

High school programs (8th thru open) focus on skills refinement and competitive wrestling. Although we offer scheduled instructional clinics lead by high quality instructors, the primary focus of our weekly sessions are to briefly review common mistakes observed during tournament competition and open the room for live rounds allowing the wrestlers to test their skills at match speed.

Joe has been involved with coaching at all levels of skills development. As a Delaware Valley College Wrestling alumnus, 1988 PIAA State Silver Medallist,and Freestyle National Champion, he aspires to give developing wrestlers the opportunity to perform at the highest levels of the sport.

Coach Fick is devoted to elevating Steel Mat Club to an elite status, recognized nationally as a force in the wrestling community.
